In-Class Project Progress

After a slow start spent contemplating and re-contemplating how to continue on the idea of reflection and distortion, I decided to hit the pause button and instead step back and focus on my technique. I opted to explore more of the technology theme that has been an undercurrent of some of my other pieces, and once again chose to paint my brother. With only two class periods so far, I've felt pretty good about the progress I've made. I especially like how the color and glow in the hand is progressing, and I hope the same glow can be captured in the face when I tackle that next.
