2nd Semester Home Project - Initial Progress

I began planning my second semester home project, which I intend to be a direct continuation of my first. I've wanted to return to more detailed hand studies and the idea of body language and connection that was a part of the first project, which included three hands linked horizontally across three separate canvases. Since I found this to be a slightly simply composition, I want to make the second version a bit more dynamic. I'm strongly drawn to the idea of a circle of canvases, though I think this may be too ambitious on my own, and may be better suited for an in-class project with a process critique at some point. My second, more attainable idea is to simply change the angle and direction of the canvases, such as putting them at a diagonal to create an upward (or possibly downward, or maybe simultaneous) reach. If I do go with just three canvases, I may want to size up slightly to work on a larger scale and attain more detail, as I liked the qualities I was able to achieve in my first project of the year which featured a hand on a much bigger scale.
